IRA Charitable Rollover Act:  A permanent law permits people age 70½ or older to make tax-free gifts directly from their IRAs. Distributions made to charitable institutions such as YCMS are not treated as taxable income, and may count toward your required minimum distribution if received by end of calendar year.
