Hello, my name is Amy. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later, attended Smith College in Massachusetts, London School of Economics in England, and University of Cincinnati. Prior to moving to Tampa in 2020, I lived in Washington, D.C., and before that, Charlotte, North Carolina. I attribute my interest in local history to my father, who was actively involved with the Cincinnati History Museum. I currently reside in the Palma Ceia neighborhood of South Tampa with my husband (Graham), two dogs (Jackson and Jeremiah), and cat (Cooper). In addition to learning about Tampa’s and Ybor City’s unique histories, I enjoy cooking and lengthy walks, soaking up the sun and beauty of Tampa, as well as nearby state parks. I also work, part-time, as a self-employed research analyst. I am thrilled to be a volunteer docent at Ybor City Museum State Park!
